A. The purpose of eyelashes

B.The structure of eyelashes
Eyelashes are divided into two parts: the hair shaft and the hair root. The length of eyelashes is about 5~10mm. The number and length of eyelashes vary from person to person. There are about 100~150 upper eyelashes and half of the lower eyelashes. Generally, 2-5 roots fall off naturally in one day, and grow about 0.1~0.18mm per day. The most active time for eyelash growth is PM10:00~AM2:00, which is consistent with the period of strong hormone secretion. Adequate sleep during this period can promote the regeneration and growth of eyelashes.
C.The growth cycle of eyelashes
The eyelash growth cycle refers to the cycle of alternate growth of eyelashes. The growth cycle of eyelashes is divided into three phases: from growth (ie active phase) through catagen transition to the resting phase. Eyelashes are the shortest-lived hairs, with an average lifespan of 3 to 6 months, constantly renewing in cycles. During the shedding period, 2-5 lashes are lost a day.
Eyelash growth rate: grow to 70% in the first month, 90% in the second month, and 100% in the third to four months. The number and texture of eyelashes vary from person to person, as does the eyelash growth cycle. Eyelashes grow and fall out repeatedly. For example, it is not that the pores of the eyelashes that fall off today will grow new eyelashes tomorrow, but after a period of time, after accumulating sufficient nutrients, new ones will grow. While some pores are recuperating, new eyelashes grow in other pores, so the overall number of lashes looks similar.
D.How long can the grafted eyelashes last, and why does it fall off?
Since eyelashes are the shortest hair in our human body, the growth cycle is 30 to 50 days, and the specific cycle depends on the individual's own metabolism. Our own eyelashes will fall off naturally due to the growth cycle, so the false eyelashes grafted on the body eyelashes will naturally fall off. Of course, if you use inferior eyelash glue, the false eyelashes will also fall off due to unstable grafting.
